Network consisted of 12 sites: one run by Forest Research. It has a sampling network of 12 terrestrial and 45 freshwater sampling locations provide long term data sets of variables thought to be of environmental importance, to allow integration and analysis of these and identify natural and man induced changes and distinguish between short term fluctuation and long term change. To provide long term data sets of variables thought to be of environmental importance, to allow integration and analysis of these and identify natural and man induced changes and distinguish between short term fluctuation and long term change. To gain a better understanding of the effects of air pollution, climate change and other stress factors affecting UK ecosystems. To provide detailed freely available data for research programs, scientific analysis and model development to aid in the identification and mitigation of the effects of climate change. To provide data and advise for policy from UK perspective.mammalbutterflyinvertebratehabitatplant (biology)birdMothsBatsmeteorologyair qualityatmospheric depositionground vegetationIncrementSoil analysissoil waterground beetlesspittle bugsrabbitsfrogRiver dischargeLand coverSoil moistureAoil carbon-9.6064986601562662.52240758984376849.34893360876909461.32998843216607Susannah RennieCentre for Ecology & HydrologyCrowmarsh GiffordWallingfordOxonUKOX10 8BB+44 (0)1491 838800ecnccu@ceh.ac.ukScottish Environment Protection AgencyErskine Court, Castle Business ParkStirlingUKFK9 4TR01786 457700otherOrganisationDefraotherOrganisationScottish GovernmentotherOrganisationFreshwater Fisheries LaboratoryotherOrganisationNatural Resources WalesotherOrganisationNorthern Ireland Environment AgencyGasworks Business Park, Lower Ormeau RoadBelfastUKBT7 2JAotherOrganisationNatural EnglandNorthminster HouseSheffieldUKS1 2ET 01733455000enquiries@naturalengland.org.ukotherOrganisationNatural Environment Research CouncilNorth Star AvenueSwindonWiltshireUKSN2 1EU +44 (0)1793 411500otherOrganisationCentre for Ecology & HydrologyLancaster Environment Centre Library AvenueBailriggLancasterUnited KingdomLA1 4AP+44(0)1524 595800 ecnccu@ceh.ac.ukScottish Environment Protection AgencyErskine CourtStirlingUnited KingdomFK9 4TR01786 457700funderwww.sepa.org.ukDefrafunderScottish GovernmentfunderFreshwater Fisheries LaboratoryfunderNatural Resources WalesfunderNorthern Ireland Environment AgencyCromac AvenueBelfastUnited KingdomBT7 2JAfunderwww.ni-environment.gov.ukNatural EnglandNatural EnglandSheffieldUnited KingdomS1 2ET 01733455000enquiries@naturalengland.org.ukfunderwww.naturalengland.org.ukNatural Environment Research CouncilNorth Star AvenueSwindonWiltshireUnited KingdomSN2 1EU +44 (0)1793 411500funderhttp://www.nerc.ac.ukUnsure1992-01-01Environmental Change Network: Nitrogen DioxideEnvironmental Change Network: Land use and site managementEnvironmental Change Network: ButterfliesEnvironmental Change Network: Epithilic diatomsEnvironmental Change Network: PhytoplanktonEnvironmental Change Network: Precipitation chemistryEnvironmental Change Network: Surface water discharge (terrestrial sites)Environmental Change Network: Rabbits and deerEnvironmental Change Network: Soil SolutionEnvironmental Change Network: BatsEnvironmental Change Network: Surface water chemistry (terrestrial sites)Environmental Change Network: FrogsEnvironmental Change Network: MeteorologyEnvironmental Change Network: ZooplanktonEnvironmental Change Network: Ground PredatorsEnvironmental Change Network: Macro-invertebratesEnvironmental Change Network: Surface water discharge (freshwater sites)Environmental Change Network: Aquatic macrophytesEnvironmental Change Network: Soil propertiesEnvironmental Change Network: VegetationEnvironmental Change Network: Surface water chemistry and quality (freshwater sites)Environmental Change Network: Common Birds CensusEnvironmental Change Network: Breeding birdsEnvironmental Change Network: Moorland birds
